One of the best things about photographing weddings is the opportunity to meet so many people from so many backgrounds. The wedding of Tobi and Toni presented me with the opportunity to photograph a Nigerian wedding in Dallas, Texas, which I found to be very rich in tradition, history, and emotions. People flew from all over the world to be at this event and some people even skyped from England and Nigeria to see it. It was a truly international event. I was honored that they chose me to be their photographer.

Their venue was the Old Red Courthouse, which is an exceptional place that really makes it easy to have a wedding with a large audience like Tobi & Toni did. The room where the ceremony is usually held is fantastic because their is so much light coming in through the windows for pictures. I always enjoy working there.
Of all the Dallas weddings I have photographed, this is the first one where the groom brought out a guitar and sung a song for his bride. Tobi really made this wedding a moment to remember for Toni with the song he sung and the tears of joy on his cheeks are evidence of his love for her. It was a special moment that any Dallas wedding photographer would love to document.
The entire night was exceptional and filled with tradition. I just kept taking pictures left and right all night long. I wish I could share them all right here on the blog, but alas, I had to choose some of my favorites.
Toni had such a fun laugh.
