WELCOME TO MY BLOG!!! My name is Hansel Dobbs and I am a wedding and portrait photographer out of Dallas, TX. This is my blog where you can find all the current goings on with me, my photography, and any other cool pictures I might take.

You might be wondering if I have a German accent, but I was born in Texas and my accent is 100% Texan. Well...urban Texan that is. My name goes back a few generations and I'm proud of it.
I started photography in high school by shooting film with my granddad's old camera equipment for the high school newspaper and then I stopped shooting when I went to college. I just couldn't afford the film any more (very sad).
After graduation and after getting a job, I took the hobby back up by buying a digital SLR and a photographer was born. There was just something that clicked inside of me when I started truly pursuing something artistic with my photography. I just can't describe it.
Outside of photography, my time is consumed by my wife and son. I try to spend every extra minute I can with them either here or on some cool vacation. I love to travel (17 countries and counting).
