The weather was fantastic, the light was incredible, and my clients rocked it for the photographs. I loved their style and it really shows in the photographs. Click HERE to see more pictures.

Linda and Garrett are getting married at Perkins Chapel and they are having their reception at City Place in Dallas. These are two of my favorite places to photograph and a fantastic combination of venues. Perkins Chapel is a classic venue to get married at and one of the most popular spots in Dallas as well. City Place offers unbelievable views of downtown Dallas. It's going to be a very special Dallas wedding for this very special couple.

I took them to the Old Cotton Mill in McKinney, TX for their engagement photographs and then out to a really cool field I found the other day. It was a beautiful day for photography as I know things are about to get much hotter around here.

Gretchen and Allen came to me to do their engagement session after already having one done that didn't meet their vision. They wanted something a little different and out of the box. I'm really honored that they saw my stuff and put their trust in me as well as their effort to do another engagement session.

I took them to one of my favorite spots as well as one of my favorite fields close to where I live. They were willing to do just about anything for me. Sometimes some of these pictures take a little bit to set up in order to move their faces into the light at just the right angle. They were both so willing to let me set them up just right for the picture and then I let them relax within that pose and laugh, kiss, or whatever. It was all fun and good times!

Philip and Crystal have a really cool story about how they met, which I got to learn more about during their engagement session the other day. They met at a Christian kids camp in Missouri where they both worked. Philip told me that they didn't even know of each for the first couple of years, but when they started looking back at Crystal's photos he was in the background of a few; kind of like Big Foot is in all of those blurry forest photos. I thought that was funny.
They both told me straight up that they were goofy and felt a little awkward in front of the camera. I kept telling them they were doing great and they had fun just laughing about the whole thing. I totally sympathize because we had our family portraits done the other day and I don't feel natural at all on the other side of the camera.
I think these photos really capture their laughter, smiles, and love. Mission accomplished! I'm looking forward to their Dallas Wedding at the Orion Ballroom in a couple of weeks.
