Crystal and Philip were married at the Orion Ballroom in Dallas, TX.  The event was spectacular with lots of funny moments; namely, Philip's mad dancing skills.  You'll have to see the photos to see what I mean.  My favorite was when Crystal and Philip broke out into their robot dances.  It was great!

Aside from the laughs, Crystal and Philip are a very special Christian couple who made their faith the center of the day and their relationship with their Savior was very clear.  Weddings like theirs are always special and memorable.

I'm working hard on editing a wedding I shot a couple of weeks ago and I thought this picture was really cool from the guys getting ready.  I liked the view of Downtown Dallas that the Orion Ballroom had.

One of the best things about photographing weddings is the opportunity to meet so many people from so many backgrounds.  The wedding of Tobi and Toni presented me with the opportunity to photograph a Nigerian wedding in Dallas, Texas, which I found to be very rich in tradition, history, and emotions.  People flew from all over the world to be at this event and some people even skyped from England and Nigeria to see it.  It was a truly international event.  I was honored that they chose me to be their photographer.

Their venue was the Old Red Courthouse, which is an exceptional place that really makes it easy to have a wedding with a large audience like Tobi & Toni did.  The room where the ceremony is usually held is fantastic because their is so much light coming in through the windows for pictures.  I always enjoy working there.

Of all the Dallas weddings I have photographed, this is the first one where the groom brought out a guitar and sung a song for his bride.  Tobi really made this wedding a moment to remember for Toni with the song he sung and the tears of joy on his cheeks are evidence of his love for her.  It was a special moment that any Dallas wedding photographer would love to document.

The entire night was exceptional and filled with tradition.  I just kept taking pictures left and right all night long.  I wish I could share them all right here on the blog, but alas, I had to choose some of my favorites.

I had the privilege of documenting the Nigerian engagement ceremony of Tobi and Toni.  I learned so many things about the Nigerian culture and traditions that night and I just couldn't take too many pictures.  The hats, gowns, headdresses, and jewelry were amazing and diverse.  It was a real treat for this Dallas Wedding Photgrapher.

I may be including too many pictures for a blog post, but I just can't help myself.  Enjoy!
