J.B. and Kelly created the most unique wedding I have documented so far and they will always be a special couple to me. We did two engagement sessions that were a blast and J.B. even made it out to a gallery party that my work was at. It's been a wonderful relationship from beginning to end.
They also have the coolest love story : They are both from the same town in West Virginia where they knew each other. Then, they both separately moved to the Dallas area and found each other again and started dating. Someone at the wedding even joked about just how far they moved from their hometown to end up finding each other anyway. It was just meant to be; and to top it all off; it snowed that night in March out of the blue. I think something was in the air!
J.B. is a graphic designer and he did much of the typography at the wedding and they both worked hard to create a modern wedding all their own. I think they achieved that! My favorite part is that the wedding and reception were in commercial photography studios with edgeless walls. It created the illusion that they were floating in space rather than being on a floor. It was just way too fun! I could just go on an on and on....but I won't.....I'll let the pictures do most of the talking.

Chillon and Jeremy had a gorgeous wedding at the Warwick Melrose mostly due to Chillon's attention to the details and also finding a fantastic florist to make it happen (Debbie Jewesson). The wedding was a blast as well as the guests. They were all just so nice and the toasts made me smile really big behind my camera. That always makes my night!

I don't even know where to start with this one. I just kept smiling throughout the night and just had a blast. J.B. and Kelly are a picture perfect model of my dream clients. They infused so much of their personalities into their wedding and truly made it a celebration. I have so much to show you. Here is a just a peek to get things kicked off.

I photographed a reception at the Nasher Sculpture Center not too long ago and I found this photograph and put it up as my desktop wallpaper. I just think it really captures the essence of the Nasher and I wanted to give it it's very own blog post. I can't wait to return to the Nasher for another wedding. It's a spectacular venue!

I photographed Chillon and Jeremy's wedding at the Warwick-Melrose Hotel in Dallas recently and it was a great experience. It was quite clear that Chillon had put a lot of work into the details of her wedding and their families flew in from both coasts to be there. It was a special day for everyone.
