Carson and Sarah's wedding in Waco was awesome. Carson had his Dad as his best man and one of the largest bridal parties I have every seen. It was so much fun to see Carson's expression when Sarah walked into the church and then to see them interact during the Ceremony and Reception. I tried to capture as many of these little moments as I could for them.
Check out the Garter Toss. Carson put on quite the production of getting the garter. The funniest I have ever seen so far. :) Future grooms...take notes.

It seems like I did Josh and Kayla's engagement session so long ago now. Time flies. Josh is a United States Marine and also an amateur photographer. I really enjoyed working with Josh and Kayla because I myself come from a rich military heritage and I feel a lot of pride for our service men and women. Seeing him and his new father in law in their uniforms really made what is happening in Iraq and Afghanistan real. I'm used to seeing that on TV and not in real life. Again, I was really proud to get to document their wedding and be there that day.

During the engagement shoot I did for them I found out that Weston is serving in the Air Force at Dyes Air Force Base in Abilene where I used to go to college at Hardin-Simmons University. Based on that, I knew that service men are pretty tight with the guys they work with and...I...was...correct. Weston's friends were so much fun and made for some fun pictures. Miriam and Weston have been together a long time and watching their slideshow of pictures over the years was really neat and I was honored to be chosen to capture the culmination of that journey. They are great people and my kind of clients.

Amber is the sister of the wife of someone I used to work with. Who, by the way, is a cool guy himself. So, I was proud to get this reference and get to photograph their wedding. It was a wonderful and fun reception at City Place off of I-75 on the 42nd floor. They had a great view of downtown Dallas at night and the whole floor to themselves. Great place to have a reception!
The greatest part of the reception was the Louisiana flare to the wedding since they are LSU alums with Zydeco music playing here and there throughout the night. They were a lot of fun!

Renee and Thomas had their wedding and reception at Renee's aunt's home at White Rock Lake. It is a beautiful old home close to the lake and they had a huge tent with lights everywhere. It was a great wedding event for a couple that is so in love with one another.
I remember meeting them the first time and knowing that I really wanted to shoot their wedding. I loved the colors, the lighting, and the wonderful personalities of everyone there.
